Salllluuuuuuttaaattttionnnsss DEADizens (← that’s new, I’m trying it out. What do you think?)!

If you saw that last post, you may be wondering, what exactly is BUFFER BUDDIES? Well, wonder no more because I am going to lay all that information for you!

We decided to start recording our conversations during our Discord movie nights (more on that later) because we get into some really, REALLY interesting topics and do everything but watch the movie. The more we listened to it the more we realized that we could bring that content to a wider audience and thus was born a podcast without a name at first. We finally came up with the name, Buffer Buddies, and have released the recordings. Each movie night is one episode and a lot of fun.

Although not necessarily intended to be this way, I love suggesting that you sync up the movie and our podcast to hear it commentary style, though the comments aren’t often about the movie itself.

And just like our twitch streams where we LOVE getting the audience and chat involved, we LOVE getting all sorts of people involved in this podcast as well! Yup! It’s open to anyone who wants to join and chat!

How to Listen to Buffer Buddies:

Buffer Buddies is available on most popular podcast sites such as Google Play, iTunes, Libsyn, and Stitcher! Just download an app to listen on the go or stream straight from your browser!

Google Play

How to participate in Buffer Buddies:

The rules are simple:

  1. Join our Discord server
  2. Have a decent/good mic (I use an affordable, decent mic)
  3. Come to our movie nights

You don’t have to be an active speaker either. If you want to listen LIVE instead, that’s fine too! And as always, be respectful. Buffer Buddies has fewer restrictions than our twitch streams, but respect is always a must! And we would advise against coming to watch the actual movie. Things get pretty crazy, you may not remember the movie at the end.

Where Else Can I Find Buffer Buddies?

If you like listening to things on the go, check out Audible! I’m currently listening to Mistborn: The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson and had just finished American Gods by Neil Gaiman. I listen to it when I drive and at work. It’s a great way to “read” when you’re on the go or just too busy in general. Using that link also helps us out directly!
